The quality of our photos is absolutely gorgeous, they are high quality and beautifully captured. Our favorite images are the candid moments of us laughing, smiling, and dancing because they truly reflect the joy of our day. ut about 2 months before the wedding that photographer let us know they would not be able to work our wedding. (Insert the angel that is Julia). Julia was the best curveball wedding planning could have thrown at us. She was easy to get ahold of, exceptionally professional, reasonably priced, and very personable — she truly wants each couple to have their own unique experience and capture what makes them “them.” So much so that she wanted to still have an intro session with us prior to the wedding, even though we didn’t need engagement photos at that point, because she wanted to get to know us, our personalities, how we act with a camera on us, what we like/don’t like, etc. and honestly it was absolutely what was needed. It made the wedding less stressful because we knew Julia, she knew us, and it was like we had known her for years.
Julia is a phenomenal photographer seeking out unique shots that aren’t just unique in nature, but unique in a way that is fitting to the couple. She was able to get the perfect balance of refined elegance with the silliness that we wanted to have throughout the reception and wedding party. Her staff is also incredibly professional, attentive, personable, and cohesive like they’ve worked together forever.
Honestly, to cut right to the chase, Julia was the easiest part of our wedding planning and the best choice we made. As a 2025 bride I understand how essential these reviews are to know who to trust, who not to trust, who will actually provide what you are looking for, etc. and Julia, she is that woman. She even had some pre-made recommendation materials for what to wear and how to set up a timeline which were polished and super helpful’ She was helpful with creating a timeline for the day of the wedding that was conducive to getting the best lighting, and shots that we wanted for our photos on our wedding day especially the sunset rooftop ones. Otherwise, herself and her second photographer were invisible. The only reason I know they were at the wedding is that I have already seen in her sneak peek photos that she captured all of the important moments!

I must have sent her at least 100 e-mails prior to the wedding and she was always quick to respond. When Julia arrived on the day of the wedding, she just fit right into the flow of the day. She rolled with the events of the day, helped keep the timeline going when needed, and actually made me feel like a queen that day! I never once felt like photography time got into the way of the wedding because she incorporated it seamlessly into the timeline. And trust me when I say the timeline and getting enough photo time was one of my most stressful plannings! Julia is well-versed in weddings and was able to provide a lot of insight and guidance before and during the wedding, not just relating to photography. Finally, our biggest reason we chose Julia as our wedding photographer is because of her images. She truly has a unique way of capturing emotions and feelings.
